Getting Here

Travel & Logistics

Everything you need to get here, get around, and find a bed. Welcome to New York.

Getting to the city

Fly into LGA or JFK if you can. Newark works too (Kalady hates Newark).

  • NYP · AmtrakEasy for East Coasters. Trains arrive at New York Penn Station / Moynihan Train Hall, with easy subway, taxi, and Uber access.

All four hubs are about 50 minutes by taxi, Uber, or subway from the hotel block.

Getting around in the city

NYC has the best public transit in the country. The subway and buses are tap-to-pay, so you can just tap your credit card or phone to enter. Ubers, Lyfts, and Citi Bikes are also plentiful. Our #1 trick: download the app CityMapper before you come. It's a transit-friendly Google Maps that makes navigation super intuitive.

Getting to the venue

About 15 minutes from the hotel block.

Parking

NYC parking sucks. The Marriott and Hilton have limited spots for $40-$50/night. If you can skip the car, skip the car.
