The Neighborhood
Broad range of places we love that we've curated for the people we love.
Szechuan dry pot and great drinks.
Indian thali brunch on weekends. So good.
Intimate, lively oysters and seafood.
A true Italian deli. Great to grab a huge sandwich or (if you're feeling crazy) a tub of delicious arrabiata sauce.
Quick, cheap, classic NYC slice.
Weird little liminal space with huge, cheap sushi boats.
A 24-hour NYC diner with all the classics, plus unexpectedly decent Mexican food. CASH ONLY.
Friendly beer hall with a cozy heated backyard.
Park Slope bar with indoor bocce and live music and comedy downstairs.
Cozy coffee shop a few blocks from the hotel.
Nice cafe with little breakfast-y things, also a few blocks from the hotel.
Cloud-like breakfast sandwiches for our early birds. They sell out.
Got Kalady's birthday cake here. Nice pastries and snacky food.
Walk-in shuffleboard club (the kind played on cruise ships). Especially good activity for bad weather.
Kalady is hard on museums and loves this one.
Our other favorite park.
Cute street with lots of shops, restaurants, etc.
Same energy, two roads down.
Big, chill place to wander. Frequently hosts free exhibits, talks, and events.
Year-round, Saturdays 8am to 4pm.
Our other, other favorite park, with a great skyline view.
