Kalady and Graham met in Lexington, Virginia at Washington & Lee, living on the same hall on the first floor of Graham-Lees.
2015

Kalady and Graham's fast friendship evolved quickly in the fall, attending semiformals together. Graham asked Kalady on their first date on October 11th, 2015, with a sticky note on her calendar informing her of their dinner reservation.
May 2016

After spring term abroad, we took our first international trip together, covering parts of the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. The damn hilly stairs of Perugia taught us the benefits of travelling light. Costa Brava taught Graham the importance of sunscreen.
2016 to 2018

We dated through sophomore year, spending time between the library, Sigma Nu parties, and Woods Creek.
The detour

Graham caught the startup bug and moved to Portugal to build his first company. Kalady moved to India to do research with the State Department. Turns out that dating across continents is pretty hard and we both had some growing to do, so we broke up.
2023

Graham moved to New York, a year after Kalady. It took ~zero minutes to start seeing each other again. We found ourselves exploring the edges of NYC, from Inwood Park, to the Queens Night Market, to Coney Island. Turns out you can fall in love with the same person over and over again.
2024

We both worked remotely, and we decided to slowmad together. In a span of a few months, we hit Baja, London, and a dozen U.S. states. We paramotored over dolphins and swam with sea lions. We saw distant family and friends more than ever. It was awesome. Most importantly, it showed us we could live a little unconventionally, and that we loved building life together.
March 2025

Over the course of 3 weeks, we took cartloads of Graham's stuff via the Q to make Kalady's apartment into our home.
September 2025 to April 2026

With Brooklyn as our shared HQ, the rest of the world was our playground. We did our first multi-week “residency” in Argentina and Chile, working remotely and adventuring in between. We climbed volcanoes, hiked mountains, skied slopes, and plotted our life of adventures together.
May 2026

During our “Dunlap Paragliding Residency”, Graham “surprised” Kalady atop a bluff, overlooking Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau. The rest of the weekend, we celebrated with our parents (an actual surprise for her!) in Chattanooga.
November 14, 2026
We start our new family and our next life together. And you are part of it!
